Jay Rin is a Nashville based touring Alt. Americana/rock singer-songwriter and entertainer with a sound that draws from folk and blues and classic and modern rock influences.

 

Jay Rin is originally from the city of Whittier in Los Angeles, CA and she got her musical start in her family home where spontaneous jam sessions and singing harmonies in the living room were a regular occurence.

By the age of 18, she had multiple album releases in a roots duo called Deep Fried Bubblegum with her father Jimmy Becker, 1 solo album, and 300+ solo/duo gigs under her belt from fairs, festivals, charity events, to casinos and restaurants all over California. 

In 2013 she made the move to Nashville to study commercial vocal performance and music business at Belmont University. In 2015 she backed up the Rolling Stones at LP Field (now Nissan stadium) with the Belmont University ensemble Chorale. During school, she interned with Nashville’s top vocal coaches Janine Le Clair at Music Row Voice and Robin Earl at Gary Earl Productions and later worked with Singdaptive - a premiere personalized online vocal teaching resource for singers.

Jay Rin is a captivating vocalist and entertainer playing private events and gigging across the country and collaborating with multiple top Nashville players and Grammy award winning musicians in multi-media tribute shows and recordings. Heavily influenced by the Beatles, she is also the 'John Lennon' in the world's top, all female Beatles tribute  Penny Lane!
